OKTRAD is a metal band from Mexico City. Originally formed in 2019, the band was born for the purpose of voicing personal introspection through the most honest form of expression.
Their music has been characterized as heavy, powerful, and detailed. Never failing to pay attention to quality, it’s also been described as new alternative/progressive metal.
With the release of their first EP ‘Degrader’ (2023), they have been part of several tours and festivals, including two dates in a national tour with Soen, Punkgresivo (Hell & Heaven), MetaMorfosis Prog Fest (CDMX), opening for Swedish band Evergrey, sharing the stage with acts like Mark Lettieri, Anima Tempo, Obesity, Nexus, Parazit, The Advent Equation and more, marking their place in the national progressive metal scene.
The band is currently working on their first full-length release, featuring their latest single ‘Swayer’ and fan-favorite ‘L.I.D.’.
